关于/etc/profile中HISTSIZE未定义直接export

在/etc/profile文件中，有"export PATH USER LOGNAME MAIL HOSTNAME HISTSIZE HISTCONTROL"一行，在这些变量中，PATH,USER,LOGNAME,MAIL,HOSTNAME,HISTCONTROL都在前面进行声明（有变量值），但是HISTSIZE变量在之前没有出现过，在这里直接通过export将其变成环境变量,

在bash中试验发现export bb(bb从来没有定义过）会出现错误，有人知道是什么原因吗？
